Leica Geosystems, part of Hexagon, and LiuGong, a global leader in construction equipment manufacturing, today announced their collaboration to offer a new kit that will streamline the installation of Leica Geosystems’ MC1 3D system on a range of LiuGong excavators.
The partnership will ensure that LiuGong machines are pre-equipped with the necessary hardware for easy future integration with Leica Geosystems' advanced MC1 3D control systems. As a result, customers will enjoy significantly reduced machine lead times, lowering the workload for dealers and customer workshops during machine setup.
“We are thrilled to collaborate with Leica Geosystems on this innovative solution that demonstrates our application focus. Through this cooperation, we will significantly enhance our customers' experience,” said Harry Mellor, European Product Director at LiuGong.“With the new kit, we are able to offer a future-ready machine solution that reduces lead times and simplifies the installation at the customers’ premises. This partnership is just another example of LiuGong’s dedication to providing high-performance, technologically advanced machines that drive efficiency for our customers worldwide.”
“Leica Geosystems is excited to partner with LiuGong to further streamline the process of integrating our 3D machine control systems with LiuGong’s high-quality excavators, providing a more seamless and efficient experience for our customers. We look forward to continuing to push the boundaries of innovation together and delivering game-changing solutions to the construction industry,” said Neil Williams, President of the Machine Control Division at Leica Geosystems.
